Kool Katas

This Monday night's 8pm class will be on weapons katas. We will work on the two-person bokken demo katas and start developing the two-person Jo kata.

Come Fall with Me

Monday is Uke class. We will work on all levels of falls as well as determining what level of resistance should be given. Each partner is different both in experience and physical ability, why would you always attack the same way? Have you considered that though uke is the one who receives the technique they are regarded as the teaching side of the uke/nage pair?

Tentative Schedule:

TWO SESSIONS

First Class: 10:15 am – 12:30 pm

Lunch: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Catered Lunch at Dojo. Soft Drinks to be provided.

Second Class: 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Dinner with Cecelia Sensei : 7:00 pm

Restaurant to be determined.

Fees: Includes Lunch, $25 per session or $40 for both (Best Value).

Spouse, additional family member or student: Only $15 per session.

No splitting or sharing of classes.

PRE-REGISTER using Sign-Up Form by Attendance Sheet.

Just a reminder to save Saturday, September 20 for aikido. Cecelia Ricciotti Sensei, 7th dan, will be giving a one day workshop then. She will also work with Kokikai black belts on Sunday morning. Watch for signs in the dojo and please plan to attend.
