Setting goals is great. Building good habits is better. Many people set out on a path with high expectations. Others never take that crucial first step for fear of potential failure. Anything worth doing is going to be hard, have pitfalls, unexpected twists and turns which can be very discouraging and all too often, cause us to lose sight of what we are capable of becoming.

Martial arts is no different. Set yourself to build good habits by practicing regularly. When life gets in the way, double down and keep practicing. People think discipline is something you get in the dojo....

Discipline is what you develop by going to the dojo.
