Rob Jacob Success

Congrats to Rob Jacob. He has qualified for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:30:14. It sounds like it was a heroic effort as he reported he had to stop a mile 23 for a bit with a stitch in his side. But he made the finish line with 45 seconds to spare on a qualifying time.

Way to go Rob!!!

A Great Send Off

February 28 was Jim Lahue's last evening class in the dojo. So many students and instructors showed up to wish him off that we had to splice together two photos to get everyone. Jim has decided to stop aikido practice to pursue a personal journey. We all deeply appreciate his many years of service as co-chief instructor and wish him the best.

Welcome to the dark side.

An advanced class covering the often unspoken options during technique and the reality of executing on the street.

Black, Brown, and Summer Camp Brown belt candidates only.
